family photography for parents who want photos that actually feel like their life

No stiff poses. No pressure. Just honest, connected images that reflect who you are right now.

photos of you —the real you

You don’t need to know how to pose.
You don’t need perfectly behaved kids.
You don’t need a “picture-perfect” home.

You just need to show up.

My sessions are designed to feel easy, natural, and relaxed — so you can focus on being with your family instead of performing for the camera.

A girl in a white dress is running or jumping outdoors on a grassy yard, holding a toy in her hand, with her hair flying in the air, and trees and a swing set in the background.
A young child with curly hair drinking from a bottle of orange juice.
Two children, a boy and a girl, playing and jumping on a trampoline outside. The boy is upside down, and the girl is standing nearby smiling. They are wearing swimsuits, and there's a safety net around the trampoline with a brick wall and trees in the background.
A young child and an adult woman lying on a bed, smiling and looking at the camera, with sunlight coming through the window.

WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT

Most photo sessions are about getting the “perfect shot.”

This isn’t that.

This is about documenting:
– the way your kids reach for you
– the chaos, the laughter, the in-between moments
– the version of your life you’ll miss one day

So when you look back, it doesn’t just look good — it feels real.

Your family’s story, documented over time

Black and white photo of multiple children lying on a patterned rug, some on a sofa, in a living room with a window, curtains, a wall with framed pictures, a side table, and a plant.

For families wanting to document more than just a moment, I offer a limited number of ‘Year in the Life’ memberships — an opportunity to tell your story across seasons.

My Year in the Life experience is designed for families who want their story captured as it actually unfolds — across seasons, milestones, and everyday life.

This isn’t just photos.
It’s your family’s legacy, intentionally documented.

A young girl with blonde hair, wearing a green sweater with pink stars, holds a mouth guard and sticks her tongue out in a bright, clean kitchen with white tiles and shelves in the background.
A young child with blonde hair and blue eyes is holding a colorful drawing or coloring book in front of their face, partially covering it. The drawing features children in winter clothing playing with paint and other art supplies, with a rainbow in the background.

spots are limited

I take on a limited number of sessions each month to keep the experience relaxed and personal.

Most families book 1–3 months in advance, especially for fall and spring.

“Jenna is AMAZING! We have worked with her a few times. The most recent was for our daughter’s 1st birthday party. We have pictures of our whole family that we will cherish forever. She captured beautiful moments with our daughters and I am so happy we decided to take professional photos for this milestone in our lives. I can’t thank her enough!”

“Don't even bother looking anywhere else, Jenna is simply THE BEST! I have experienced a full day of documentary photography with her in my home with my 7 family members and it was such a joyful and fun experience. Forget 5 stars, she deserves 10!!”
