This family session will go down in history as one of my absolute favorites of all times. Why you ask? The fog acted as an enormous reflector creating the most stunning lighting conditions and this family was absolutely lovely in every way.
Oftentimes my clients become friends and this was no exception. In fact, I actually forgot I was there to take pictures at some point because the conversation was so riveting, I couldn’t focus on anything else.
This is my favorite part about my job. I meet the most amazing people. Furthermore, living in an expat-rich community provides me the opportunity to meet families from all over the world. Learning about people is my favorite thing!

This location has become a favorite of mine because as the seasons change, so does the look and feel of the lake. It’s relatively quiet most of the time too – no crowds here! In addition to that, the reflections in the water make me crazy happy and the playground offers a variety of equipment for the kids to enjoy too.
I’m looking forward to seeing how this family chooses to print and display their images from our session. I hope the pictures bring them joy each and every day. This guy’s smile surely melts my heart!
